III Annual International Conference "TRILOGY" (transport, investments, logistics)

21-22 September 2010, III Annual International Conference "TRILOGY" (transport, investments, logistics) will be held in Saint-Petersburg.

     As a result of last two years experience, the Conference has gained status one of leading event focusing on discussion over the current status, problems and prospects of development of transport and logistics industry in the region. Besides general questions are to be raised at conference related to the development of transport complex of the North-West Federal District and the border regions, there will be held round-tables and panel discussions on the port industry, road and rail transport, multimodal transportations, customs clearance, etc.

     Features of the conference «TRILOGY» in 2010:

     1. The event will take place within the VI Annual International Conference «Cross-border cooperation: Russian Federation, the European Union and Norway». 

     2. The key topic of the conference is activity of the Northern Dimension Transport and Logistics Partnership and the relevant Working Group of the Northern Dimension Business Council. Since 2010 «TRILOGY» should be treated as an official event of the Working Group on Transport and Logistics within the Northern Dimension Business Council. 

     3. There will be organized meeting on transport under the support of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the North-West Federal District. The meeting will be held jointly with Northern Dimension Partnership and the Business Council Working Group on Transport and Logistics.

     Key topics are to be discussed during the conference:

• New instruments of cooperation in transport and logistics in the North-West Europe;
• Logistics of international transportations;
• Development of port facilities in the Baltic Sea;
• Investment projects in the North-West Russia. Opportunities of the Northern Dimension Business Council for their facilitation.

The III Annual International Conference «TRILOGY» will be held under the auspices of: Office of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the North-West Federal District, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and Committee on transport and transit policy of Saint Petersburg. Partners of the conference are: Association of Commercial Sea Ports, Russian Railways and International Academy of Transport.

Representatives of the North-West Federal District, Baltic States and Nordic countries, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, federal agencies, industry associations, largest transport, logistics and investment companies are invited to participate.
